CATALINA WOMEN’S OPEN
3 DAY OPEN AMATEUR WEEKEND CONDITIONS OF PLAY – 2022
- Players must report to the Pro-Shop 20 minutes prior to the appointed starting time and must report to the starter at designated tee 10 minutes prior to the allocated time. (Rule 5-3 to apply)
- All events are open to amateur lady golfers having a current Australian Handicap with an affiliated Golf Club.
- The Club Catalina Ladies Match Committee reserve the right to refuse any entry and alter or make variations to the program and conditions. Any dispute or protest shall be decided by the Match Committee whose decision shall be final.
- On Saturday and Sunday, Division 1 will play Stroke and 2 & 3 will play Stableford.
- Due to “Special Requests” i.e. players travelling together or sharing a cart, the field will not be played in Divisions.
- Players are eligible to win only one 36-hole event other than the Catalina Trophy and only one daily trophy other than minor events.
- Ties in the 36-hole Division 1 Open Championship shall be decided by playoff over three holes, then sudden death. Ties in all other events are to be decided by count back.
- The winner of the Challenge Bowl will be the team with the highest aggregate score of the best three players out of four. Ties for the Challenge Bowl shall be decided on the scorecard of the third highest Stableford score, any further count back shall be decided by the fourth card.
- Original handicap to remain valid for the 36-hole and daily events. There will be no Divisional changes during the 36-hole tournament.
- Mobile phones may be carried but must be set to MUTE.
General Conditions
- Every effort will be made to allocate preferred tee times.
- No entry fee will be refunded after the draw has been completed. Cancellations on
Medical grounds or due to exceptional circumstance will be given special consideration. Exception – If the tournament is cancelled due to Covid restrictions all entrants will be refunded.
Late entries will be accepted depending on availability. - The draw will be emailed in the week before play commences. It will also be on the Club
Catalina website in the week prior to play. Look under Golf and then Events - Dress regulations: Neat and tidy GOLF apparel. Metal spikes not permitted.
