International Women’s Day 2022 – A Celebration of Women and our Female Club Presidency #IWD2022 #BreakTheBias

By Club News, Golf News

At Club Catalina, we are proud supporters of International Women’s Day! Today, we take this special opportunity to celebrate our Female Members and Guests, Women in Golf, Women in our broader Community, and our very own Club President, Cathie Flynn. It is our absolute privilege to share Cathie’s Story with you this International Women’s Day: “As you know, International Women’s Day is celebrated on 8th March. Refurbishment Update

By Club News

Friday 4th February 2022: NEW Projects – Commencing Next Week From Monday, works will begin on the front of house area of the Catalina Restaurant where we will see the point of sale, food pass and pizza oven areas receive a makeover, bringing it up to date with the December 2019 Restaurant refurbishment. The Restaurant will be fully open during this period of works with little impact to our members. From mid-February works will commence on the Bathrooms throughout the Club, with the order of sequence being, Restaurant, Foyer, Lounge and then the Sports Bar bathrooms. During this period, we will endeavour to minimise any inconvenience or disruption as much as possible, as we progress these delayed and much needed refurbishments. The TAB & Gaming Refurbishment will commence in early March, which will progress through until early May 2022. The rear entry area will also see the establishment of a digital interactive golf honour board and a tasteful trophy display cabinet to accommodate the major golf trophies.
