Debbie Coleman donates around a schooner of whole blood every three months when the Australian Red Cross Blood Service Van comes to Batemans Bay.
Debbie yesterday joined to be a part of the Red25 Group Blood Donation with her employer, Club Catalina.
Australia needs over 27,000 blood donations each week. Blood is vital to over 300,000 Australians each year undergoing treatment for cancer and blood diseases, as well as over 3,000 babies born prematurely or with serious medical conditions.
As a blood donor, you can give blood every 12 weeks. Every donation saves 3 lives. Club Catalina has formed a group through the Red25 donation program, and is an opportunity for employee’s of the Club Catalina to get together and do something truly special for the community by regularly giving blood.
Come Batemans Bay – 1 donation saves 3 lives.
